General Board What is the Relay For Life? Well most of us know that it’s a 24 hour event in which people walk around a track and raise money. But we all know it’s more than just the money - it’s about people, Survivors, support, teams, compassion, and the feeling of community - it’s about belonging with so many others around the world, to a movement that is way bigger than all of us combined. Relay For Life is not only an event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money to help the American Cancer Society, it is also a way for all of us to band together, united in one cause. Without each other, we wouldn’t be as strong a force as we have become - we ARE the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, and we WILL find the cure for cancer. It may not be tomorrow, it may not be next week, but we will find a cure, and we will continue to count on each other for the support we need to continue our fight. This forum has been started to help you, my fellow Relayers on your personal journies towards the cure. We only learn and grow by talking to each other, so please utilize this arena for your enrichment. If you need to know something about anything Relay-related, this is the place to pose the questions. Hopefully as people post more, this forum will become an important tool in your aresenal - your best weapon in this fight against cancer.
